The old operator stations are replaced by our OS800. MasterPiece 200 & Advant controller 400 HMA has made several upgrades of MP200 systems with up to 4 nodes, and 2500 IO signals. We have developed and produced special fittings for DIN-rails, making it possible to mount the new S800 IO-modules directly on the old remaining ABB terminal unit tail. By first removing the communication units on the top rail (B04), it makes it possible to fit the new IO termination modules for the IO-boards on row 2 (B07), up to row 1. Then we can move signal by signal, from row 2 and up to row 1. This simplifies the upgrade, and makes it easy to do the reconnection without making any errors. A typical reconnection of a standard node cabinet with approximately 500 IO in this way, done by an experienced electrician, is done in approximately eight hours. Reconnection of several nodes can be done simultaneously, which make it possible to perform an upgrade in just a few days. The swing frame with the old 19” CPU rack and IO- racks are removed, and the new controller are fitted in any available location. No more broken flat cables, more space, and better overview in the cabinets.
Masterpiece 51 & S400 IO For upgrade of MP51 and S400 IO, we use pre-terminated boards with the same size and terminal plugs as the old units. This makes the reconnection very easy when we just disconnect the old plugs, remove the old units, fit the new boards and plug in the old plugs. The only wiring necessary is pulling of new communication cables.
Masterpiece / Advant controller 110 For upgrade of AC/MP 110 we simply remove the old node, and then fit the new AC800 controller with the IO-modules, then we move signal by signal from the old termination-rails.
