Høglund Marine Automation AS has lately performed several successful upgrades from the old generation ABB control systems to our self-developed brand new HMA HC800 Concept. For the new generation HC800 Concept Høglund Marine Automation AS has chosen to use the highly sophisticated and reliable AC800 controller series delivered by ABB, our partner in business for many years. This is due to several reasons:

- The AC800 series is modular and scalable in order to fit into any system from small systems with only a few hundreds I/O up to larger systems with several thousands I/O

Høglund Marine Automation AS have developed its own operator station for interface with the AC800 controllers from ABB. The OS800 is originally based upon the GMR100, a well-proven PMS operator interface. For communication with the ABB AC800 Process Controller network, an OPC interface has been implemented. The result is a powerful marine operator station with all functions required for surveillance of the controller network, including multi screen support with displays that can be scaled or zoomed, an integrated logging system with alarm/event list logger, sophisticated alarm/event alerting to e-mail/SMS and historical playback providing full display navigation through the past.
Høglund Marine Automation AS has in its employment among others former ABB commissioning engineers with vast experience with marine installations around the world such as Europe, Middle East, Asia and the US.
